KS Buds Mission Statement

Our Club Aims to:

  • Provide a fun, welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment where all children can play, explore, and develop freely.
  • Support children in developing responsibility for themselves and their actions, helping each child to become confident, independent, and co-operative.
  • Encourage children to develop a positive attitude and to show respect for themselves and for others of all ages and genders.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents/carers and school staff, working in partnership to provide high-quality play and care for all children.
  • Offer an inclusive provision that is accessible to all children within our school community, meeting their emotional, developmental, and physical needs.
  • Ensure our services are regularly monitored and evaluated so that the Club continues to meet the needs of children, parents, and carers.

Our Commitment to Parents and Carers:

Our Club is committed to meeting the needs of parents and carers by:

  • Listening to and responding appropriately to their views, concerns, and feedback.
  • Keeping them fully informed about our policies and procedures, including opening times, fees, charges, and the programme of activities.
  • Sharing and discussing their child’s achievements, experiences, progress, friendships, and any difficulties that may arise.

Our Commitment to High-Quality Care:

Our Club is committed to providing:

  • Care and activities that prioritise the needs, well-being, and safety of all children.
  • A programme of activities that is stimulating, engaging, and enjoyable.
  • Opportunities that promote each child’s social, physical, moral, and intellectual development.
  • Access to high-quality resources and play opportunities within safe, supervised conditions.
  • A staff team that is experienced, well-trained, and appropriately supported.
  • Services that comply with the Children Act 1989 and all other relevant childcare legislation.
